Larissa Della Vedova obtained her MSc in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Technology from the University of Milan in 2021, where she later completed a PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences. Her expertise lies in analytical chemistry, with a focus on developing LC-(HR)MS methods for the characterization of bioactive compounds in natural and biological matrices.

During her PhD, she explored the pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics of natural products through in vitro and in vivo models, including ADMET profiling and formulation studies. She also conducted part of her research at the University of Mississippi as a visiting scholar.

Currently, she works as a postdoctoral researcher at Utrecht University and Wageningen University & Research, developing metabolomics workflows to investigate microbial-host interactions in recurrent urinary tract infections. Her research interests include metabolomics, bioanalytical chemistry, and the microbiome.
