I have obtained my PhD at the faculty of Business and Economics of the University of Antwerp (Belgium). I started my PhD in 2013, after being employed in the public sector for several years as an accountant, cabinet member, and senior consultant. My main research interests focus on hybridity, public service motivation and integrity. During my academic career, I have been teaching courses such as Management and Organization, Strategic Management, Introduction to Business Administration, Financial Management, Organization Studies and European and International Environments.
In November 2019, I co-founded the think tank Eleni which addresses ecological, fiscal and geopolitical challenges by publishing opinion pieces in national newspapers. Ensuring societal impact has been always very important to me. From 2020 to July 2021, I have been enrolled as an advisor Fiscal policies and Budget at the Federal Parliament of Belgium. From August 2021-2022, I have been employed as a Lecturer and Researcher at the department of Organization Studies at Tilburg University (the Netherlands).
Since October 1st (2022), I joined the Strategic Human Resource Management chair as an Assistant Professor, contributing to HRM-related courses and research lines.
As from April 2023, I became appointed as conference manager of IRSPM (International Research Society for Public Management).
