Lana Hoekstra works as a Key User Innovation at the Centre for Academic Teaching and Learning (CAT). 

My focus areas are the online innovation tools that CAT offers to teachers to enhance their online education. I stay in contact with the developers to translate the demands and wishes that teachers have concerning our tools, and I offer technical support to teachers concerning the use of the tools. 

The Centre for Academic Teaching and Learning works UU-wide on innovating and strengthening education with technology. CAT supports teachers who take the initiative to renew their own education, both in (re)designing their courses by incorporating the teaching methods and ideas of blended learning, and in the use of educational tools whose added value for education has already been established by other UU teachers. Here we work as much as possible in an evidence-informed way. In addition CAT works on innovation projects aimed at the future of education.
