As Team Lead and Marketing and Communication Advisor I am developing marketing strategies for the bachelor’s and master’s programmes of the Faculty of Geosciences.
The responsibilities of my team include
- Organizing the Open Days and ‘Student for a Days’ for prospective bachelors and master’s students
- Conducting market research (often together with agencies) in order to obtain a strong understanding of our target groups: prospective national and international students
- Advising on programme renewals from a marketing and communications perspective
- Advising on marketing policy for student recruitment and translate into communication and marketing plans
- Communication with prospective students
- Developing and implementing campaigns, events and other activities to achieve the recruitment targets
- Determining and developing appropriate communication channels
- Coordinating, managing and monitoring project objectives including reporting and evaluating on marketing
- Content creation
- Website development
