PhD in Sociology, project manager for European collaboration within the team International Affairs. Main focus is facilitating inter- and transdisplinary collaborations. Helping teams characterised by large diversity of contributions  to develop mutual understanding and unlock their creative potential. 

My core expertise is strategic advice for (European) research funding and policy, Lobby in Brussels, Horizon Europe, strategic advice and development for research in large interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary programmes.

• TORCH-developing the Research and Innovation Dimension of CHARM-EU European University (1st phase completed)

Extensive experience in the fields of global change and climate change, sustainable energy and urban futures.

PhD in Sociology (Cologne, 2003) and German and English Language and Literature (1992 Magister Artium, University of Cologne), researcher in large interdisciplinary research programmes, a.o. in German Urban Ecology Consortia with Cities, facilitator of stakeholder dialogues, as Research Funding Officer  (PT-DLR) and as programme advisor for the German BMBF. 2018 - 2020  Head of the Domain of Research Support at the Humanities Faculty. 2016 - 2018 RSO Geosciences Faculty, as Funding advisor for the Copernicus Institute.
