My name is Kristina and I am an interdisciplinary researcher and teacher enthusiastic about engaging in sustainability transitions and transformations. My mission is to support transformative social innovation, peoples’ development, and impactful and responsible thinking and behavior. I hope to promote sustainable development in my research, teaching and engagement activities. 

My main research interests are sustainability transitions and transformations. I am currently focussing on questions around justice, emotions and transformative action, e.g. how we can engage with emotions in complex justice situations or how we can engage in transformative research and education. I am co-hosting the Special Interest Group on "Justice, Power and Transformative Action in Sustainability (JUPITA)", the Critical Emotions Collective and the STRN Thematic Group Justice in Sustainability Transitions “Ju-ST”. 

I am the course coordinator and coach in our "Changemaking Journeys".

I am currently involved in the ongoing research projects POTRANSI, Feeling Futures and Bye, bye, hello, Hot Kòrsou.

My main motivation besides learning, co-creating and sharing knowledge is helping our students to develop critical emotional awareness, knowledge, skills, and mindsets to make a positive change in this world.
