Profile

Paul Boselie (PhD, MSc) is Professor in the Utrecht School of Governance at Utrecht University (The Netherlands). His research traverses human resource management, institutionalism, strategic management and industrial relations. His research is published in the Journal of Management Studies, Human Relations, Applied Psychology, Human Resource Management (usa), Human Resource Management Review, the Human Resource Management Journal, the International Journal of Human Resource Management, the International Journal of Manpower, Public Management Review, Managing Service Quality, Management Revue, Administration in Social Work and Personnel Review. Paul's teaching involves executive training in strategic HRM for HR and non-HR professionals, a master course HR Studies and a bachelor course strategic HRM. He was the European Editor of Personnel Review till 2012 and is a member of the Editorial Board of the Journal of Management Studies and Human Resource Management Journal.He is an Associate Editor of the International Journal of Human Resource Management.

Young disabled people, labour-market participation and inclusive organisations

General project description 

Promoting the labour-market participation of young people with disabilities is an important social policy objective in the Netherlands. Social partners as well as government have developed various initiatives to realize this policy objective. This research project, financed in the context of the Nationale Wetenschapsagenda, is part of the project JOIN: Young People in a Resilient Society, Towards New Arrangements for Inclusion and Participation. It focuses on 1) Human Resource Management challenges for employers in promoting the labour-market participation of young people with disabilities; 2) how employers' networks and partnerships of employers and public agencies responsible for implementing social policies contribute to addressing these challenges.
