Pharmacoepi. and Clinical Pharmacol.

I am a postdoc of drug regulatory science at the Center for Pharmaceutical Policy and Regulation of the Division of Pharmacoepidemiology and Clinical Pharmacology, within the Utrecht Institute for Pharmaceutical Science (UIPS).

I'm studying evidence & decision making in drug regulation, mostly using qualitative methods. In my PhD dissertation, I analyzed how medicine regulators make decisions in practice through ethnographic research at the Dutch Medicines Evaluation Board (MEB). Currently, I am involved in Nanospresso and Oncode Accelerator where I am studying the regulatory implications of innovations in medicine development.

Other of my research interests include open science, science policy, STS & metascience.
