Adriaan is tutor and consultant at the Utrecht University School of Governance. He is a multidisciplinary researcher with a wide interest in political and social issues. Before his employment at Utrecht University he worked as a researcher at the Netherlands Scientific Council for Government Policy (WRR) and as a journalist for Binnenlands Bestuur, a magazine for civil servants. Topics that he worked on include social security, local government and the governance of expertise in government organizations.
