Hanne works as a consultant and trainer in the field of curriculum development at Educational Development & Training. This means that she advises lecturers and program management on educational design for new and existing programs. In doing so, she uses educational knowledge about the quality of education, for example: educational vision, learning objectives, learning trajectories, activating teaching methods, motivating education and differentiation. She also uses knowledge about project management and change management to achieve a good and supported curriculum. Themes include: project planning, stakeholder involvement, instructional design process, supervising educational development teams. This may involve education for different target groups. She have the most experience with higher education and continuing education (programs for lifelong learning). 

Hanne supervises intervision groups and (video)coaches teachers, project leaders and educational managers.

From October 2013 to December 2018, Hanne was a member of the management team of Educational Development & Training.

 

Expertise

One of her areas of expertise is designing continuing education. She is currently conducting a PhD research in this field, entitled What are design principles for developing university continuing education in which both needs of professionals and of university faculty are taken into account? 

Another area of expertise is the design of honours education, including the application of experiences from honours education into regular education. From the first course in 2011, she was program leader of the honours teaching course at Utrecht University, together with the Dean of Honours Education. 

Previously, she has conducted research on authentic tasks.
