I am a PhD candidate at the Institute for Marine and Atmospheric research Utrecht (IMAU) investigating the climate sensitivity of past warm climates. My project is funded by the Netherlands Earth System Science Centre (NESSC) that aims to improve future projections of our climate by studying the processes behind climate change. Currently, I am studying the climate response to CO2 concentration and geographic boundary conditions during the Pliocene (~3 Ma) and Miocene (~15 Ma) using the Community Earth System Model (CESM). Improving our understanding of interactions and processes in these warm climates may help us to better understand our current and future warming climate.
