Iris Kruijen works as a spokesperson at the Corporate Affairs department. Her responsibilities include:

• Coordinating press requests and organising media trainings;
• Support for researchers who experience online harassment and intimiation (also see this intranet page)
• Advising internal and external clients on internal and external communication projects;
• Organising (inter)national media attention;
• Writing news and press releases;

Previously, Iris worked as spokesperson for the faculty of Veterinary Medicine, engagement team lead at the European Molecular Biology Laboratory (EMBL) and as a science editor and press officer at Radboud University in Nijmegen.
