The REAL project (Research on Exploration, (embodied) Attention, and Labelling) investigates the connections between exploration, (embodied) attention (EA), labelling of caregivers, and language development in young children. It compares these processes in home and childcare settings, with a specific focus on the role of socioeconomic status (SES). By uncovering insights into how these factors interact, the project aims to enhance understanding of early language development and inform efforts to reduce language gaps.
