I joined University College Utrecht in December 2016 and have accumulated several roles and tasks over the years.
In 2020, I became part of the Student Life Office as counsellor, coaching and counselling students.

I also assist Mark Baldwin in the UCMore and other projects enhancing students resilience and well-being.

I am a member of the National University College Guidance Network.

I studied English language and literature at Utrecht University from 1985 - 1992 including Communications and PR, programming and theatre science. In 1988-89, I got a Harting scholarship to study English literature and drama at Sheffield University, UK.
I obtained my teaching degree at University Utrecht in 2009. In 2010-2012, I did the Counselling and Coaching training at the Academie voor Counselling en Coaching in Utrecht.
