Isabelle Fest is a PhD researcher at Utrecht University and part of the ALGOPOL project. She is excited by trans- and interdisciplinary research, for which she makes thankful use of her own background across different fields. Her current academic interest lies at the intersection between technology and society.
In her PhD research Isabelle studies the use of algorithms by the Dutch National Police. In this, she focuses on the role of public and ethical values. In her current research she uses mainly ethnographic methods.
