H.T. (Trisha) Mohan
PhD Candidate
Trisha is a researcher with a BA LLB (Hons.) from Jindal Global Law School and an MSc in Law and Society from Leiden University. Her research explores the intersections of migration, gender, and welfare, with a strong emphasis on feminist and visual ethnography, and qualitative inquiry. Her current research interests include transnational mobility, labour, ageing, and the governance of welfare. She is currently a PhD candidate in the International Development Studies group at the Department of Human Geography and Spatial Planning, working within the RETIREWEL project to study how older migrants in the UK-India corridor navigate retirement at the intersection of welfare systems, family care networks, and the emerging retirement industry.
