Helle Hochscheid teaches courses in antiquity and heritage at University College Roosevelt, one of the Liberal Arts & Sciences colleges of Utrecht University, in Middelburg. In 2015, she published Networks of Stone. Her most recent book is The Value of Making, co-edited with Ben Russell. Her expertise is focused on the manufacture of sculpture and other crafts in ancient societies, in particular Greece. She is also the founder and coordinator of the project Archaeology in the Classroom, which supports learning transferable skills in the classroom through archaeology.
