Hamdy Elsayed is a postdoctoral researcher at the Faculty of Geosciences, Utrecht University and a lecturer at Menoufia University, Egypt. Hamdy holds a Ph.D. in Engineering from the Centre for Water Systems, University of Exeter, UK. Hamdy’s research interests cover the interdisciplinary area of water resource management with a strong interest in applying system-based approaches and developing modelling tools for water management (both quantity and quality) at the catchment level. Hamdy has taught several water engineering courses for undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
