Gabriëlle Negrón MA is a Lecturer in Modern and Contemporary Art at Utrecht University. Her research focuses on women artists, feminist art history, and the politics of visibility in modern and contemporary art. She obtained her Research Master’s degree in Art History from Utrecht University in 2024, with the thesis Visualizing Feminism: Women’s Exhibitions and the First Feminist Wave in the Netherlands. She previously worked as an Academic Researcher at the Rijksmuseum Amsterdam, contributing to the "Women of the Rijksmuseum" project and the Printroom. She is now co-leader of "Women in the State Art Collection" at the Cultural Heritage Agency of the Netherlands, a long-term research and curatorial project that has resulted in publications and a forthcoming exhibition.
