Assistant Professor
I am an assistant professor in the Applied Economics section of the Utrecht University School of Economics. My research interests cover innovation (including the labour effects of recent automation technologies), firm performance, industrial dynamics, and economic history. I obtained my PhD from the University of Siena (Italy). Before joining U.S.E., I worked as a post-doctoral researcher at the Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies in Pisa (Italy) and as a senior lecturer at Erasmus University College in Rotterdam (The Netherlands).
