As Board Secretary for the Department of Mathematics, I support and advise the boards of both the Mathematical Institute and the Freudenthal Institute. I help bridge strategy and implementation by facilitating decision-making, coordinating governance processes, and ensuring that decisions and actions are effectively followed through.

In my role, I work closely with board members, academic staff, and professional services colleagues on appointments, evaluations, accreditation reviews, and board meetings. I also monitor developments within and outside the organisation that may affect the department, contributing to effective collaboration, clear communication, and well-functioning governance across both institutes and the department as a whole.
