Freek de Haan is a PhD candidate at the Copernicus Institute of Sustainable Development at Utrecht University. He has working experience in the fields of global health research and data driven healthcare consultancy. He is particularly interested in dynamics of medicine markets in resource restricted settings.
For his PhD project, Freek studies the market positioning of a new generation of anti-malarial medicines in Asia and Africa. Furthermore, he is lecturer in a number of technology and innovation related courses.
