Research interest
The research focuses in particular on the following topics:

the development of national and international contract law (see, inter alia, the monograph Commercial Contracts (Paris 2013)

the place of copyright within the private law system (see the monograph Intellectual Property (Wolters Kluwer 2018); the relationship between copyright law and human rights (see contributions to conferences UNISA Johannesburg 2009; ATRIP Vilnius 2009; CO-REACH Shangha 2010 ) as well as a contribution on moral rights in Dutch copyright law in the international context ( see Ch. 18 Moral Rights, Sweet & Maxwell 2010)
