Floris Keizer (1986) is PhD student in Ecohydrology of Floodplain Fens. After completing a Bachelor in Physical Geography at Utrecht University in 2009, he graduated from the Sustainable Development program in 2012 with a focus on spatial and temporal patterns in water quality during flooding in the natural Biebrza River floodplain. After his graduation he continued his work on the spatial and temporal variation in water quality.

Currently, he studies the role of suspended sediment transport and deposition in natural river floodplains for vegetation productivity and biodiversity.
