I am an assistant professor working in the Department of Information and Computing Sciences at Utrecht University I am a member of the Software Production Group. I work on requirements engineering, applying natural language processing, machine learning, and other artificial intelligence techniques to requirements engineering problems to improve the quality the software engineering processes and software products. 

I obtained my Ph.D. degree from the University of Trento in 2016. After that, I worked as a postdoctoral researcher in my current group. In 2018 I started working as an assistant professor in the Department of Computer Engineering at Bogaziçi University, Türkiye. I re-joined the Software Production Group as an assistant professor in 2024. 

I co-organized AIRE 2024, NLP4RE 2021, Sethics 2021 workshops and regularly serve as a member of the program committees of IEEE RE, REFSQ, CAISE and ER conferences.
