Eva van de Weijer-Bergsma studied Clinical Neuropsychology at the University of Amsterdam and received her PhD in 2009 at Utrecht University. In 2015 she was appointed as Assistant Professor at Utrecht University.
Research
Eva is engaged in research on the development of executive functions in different contexts (e.g., school, home) and how that relates to children’s academic and behavioral functioning.
Teaching
She is involved in several master programs: Clinical Child Family and Education Studies (CCFES), Youth Education and Society (YES), and the research master Educational Sciences Learning in Interaction (EdSci). She coordinates several courses within these programs. Eva is a member of several committees: the admissions committee for YES as well as the Programm Advisory Committee, de Educational Committee and the Exam Commitee for EdSci.
Impact
Eva developed an Open Science IT-platform called Share (formerly known as the Utrecht University Developmental Assessment Battery (UU-DAB)), where researchers make their assessment instruments available for use by others. She is a member of the Faculty Open Science Team.
