Dr. Rob Heerdink is associate professor at the Division of Pharmacoepidemiology & Clinical Pharmacology of the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Utrecht University. He is primarily responsible for the investigation of the pharmaco-epidemiology of psychotropic drugs, but also has a special interest in adherence research. Much of his research is done using automated databases linking pharmacy, general practice and hospital data. However, he is also experienced in setting up and carrying out prospective studies in clinical practice. Dr. Heerdink is (co) author of more than 230 articles in peer-reviewed scientific journals.
