Erin Jones is a PhD candidate in Global Governance and Innovation for Earth and Space Sustainability at the Copernicus Institute of Sustainable Development. She is working on the project, ‘Planetary stewardship in view of earth-space sustainability’ (PlanetStewards), funded by the European Research Council (ERC).

Erin has written broadly on the intersections between democracy, environmental sustainability, and human rights issues. She was formerly a senior research analyst in the Democracy, Conflict, and Governance program at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, in both Washington, DC and Brussels.
