I am keenly interested in studying climate change, with a focus on understanding plant responses to drought. I have built up my knowledge and interest in preserving and restoring nature during my career. I have worked for MUSE (Science Museum of Trento), collaborating with the NAtive Seed Science, TEchnology and Conservation (NASSTEC), writing my Bachelor's dissertation on Alpine Grasslands. During my Master's studies in Utrecht, I participated in the Drought Network project carrying out research on semi-natural grasslands concerning drought and atmospheric fertilisation.

My current research called "On the origin of vegetation patterns", will study the formation of regular vegetation patterns in drylands.
