In 2023-24, Ewa was a workgroup teacher in the course 'Assessment and Evaluation'. She was also a co-supervisor (expert) of three Master thesis students in a project ‘Happy digital youth?', based on secondary analysis of Digital Youth and Digital Family data (NL). At the same time, she was a part-time lecturer at the Department of Communication Science (Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam), where she supervised seven Master theses on two projects: (1) ‘Digital youth - a longitudinal perspective', based on secondary data analysis of the ABCD Study (US) and (2) a meta-analysis project of violent video game effects on brain, body, and behavior.
Between 2020-2022, Ewa was a lecturer in Media Entertainment within Youth and Media Entertainment program, at the Department of Communication Science, University of Amsterdam. She taught courses related to Entertainment Communication and supervised Bachelor and Master theses related to digital media use (social media, video games, VR games) and well-being, body image, and emotions.
During her PhD at the VU Amsterdam, she gave lectures and tutorials within the Essentials of Media Psychology course, supervised Bachelor and Master theses in Communication Science and Clinical Developmental Psychology on topics related to her PhD thesis (violent video game exposure and social-cognitive skills in adolescents).
