Daantje teaches several courses in BA, MA and ResMa. For her passionate way of teaching, Daantje was nominated ‘Teacher of the year’ in 2019 (Vrije Universiteit) and received the ‘Netwerk Vrouwelijke Hoogelerarenprijs’ in 2015. In 2024 she was elected ‘Teacher of the Year’ for Art History (Utrecht University).
