Maylin joins the lab for her BSc internship and we welcomed two new technicians: Teun started in September on NWO-XS project and Mariana joins NWO-XL project. And our review on the developmental trajectories of cortex cells is out!

7 February 2025: NWO-XS funding

Our NWO-XS proposal  “Suberin-Inducing Microbes for Stress-Resilient Crops” got funded!  It will allow us to do exciting phenotyping experiments in NPEC facility. We cannot wait to start!

16 December 2024: NWO-XL funding

The BarrierFates consortium, we participate in, received NWO funding! We are excited to explore maize root barrier cell types together with labs of Kaisa Kajala, Hannah Schneider, Victoria Mironova and Jian Xu.

2 December 2024: Science for Life Conference
