I am working as a PhD on the PUSH-IT project (https://www.uu.nl/en/research/copernicus-institute-of-sustainable-development/piloting-underground-seasonal-heat-storage-in-geothermal-reservoirs-push-it). I work on modelling the thermal system and the economic aspects related to it. My main focus are the underground thermal storage technologies, which I will be modelling with python. I focus on a system perspective to find out the techno-economic aspects of underground thermal energy storage. Previous work focused on the elektricity market and battery degradation.
