My research is on methodologies for the development, implementation, and evaluation of AI systems. I’m interested in ways to assess and ensure that data-driven decision support products exhibit human-centric properties and conform to the EU and national regulations. My ongoing projects focus on responsible automation in patient care.

I also hold guest appointments at Delft University of Technology (Faculty of Technology, Policy, and Management) and University Medical Center Utrecht (Julius Center).
