I work as an Assistant Professor at M&S where I develop statistical methods that combine multiple data sources to better understand social phenomena and individual behavior.
After obtaining my PhD in Statistics at the University of Milano-Bicocca (Italy), where my thesis focused on "Inference with nonprobability samples and survey data integration", I continued my academic career as a lecturer in Computational Social Science at the University of Amsterdam. Threre, I guided students in using digital and statistical tools to tackle complex social challenges.
I was later awarded the "Understanding Society Reserach Data Fellowhsip" on Youth Nonresponse which supported my one-year postdoctoral research at Utrecht University.
Currently, my primary research interests are statistical inference using nonprobability samples, survey data integration, non-response analysis, and the analysis of digital trace data, both on their own and in combination with survey data.
