Chris Paffen is Associate Professor at the Faculty of Social and Behavioural Sciences of Utrecht University. This position combines teaching, research and management duties. Chris was trained in experimental psychology, and received his PhD in 2004. Chris is particularly interested in visual perception, visual consciousness, and the perception of time (Google Scholar). Next to research, Chris teaches a variety of topics in the field of psychology, at the undergraduate (Ba), graduate (MSc and PhD), and post-master level, at multiple programs (e.g. Applied Cognitive Psychology, Artificial Intelligence, Psychology, Neuroscience and Cognition).
