Trained as a chemist, I currently work as an independent researcher (associate professor) and teacher at the Department of Pharmaceutics, since October 1999. I teach physical chemistry at Pharmacy courses, and my main research activities include the guidance of Ph.D. candidates, postdocs and undergraduate students, and the aquisition of grants, in the field of advanced drug delivery.
I am married since September 1999, have two children (born in 2002 and 2004), and live hapilly in the village of Vlijmen, near 's Hertogenbosch.
I spend my free time with sports (cycling, spinning, ice scating) and gardening, and really enjoy good diners, wine, and travelling, together with my family.
