With my background in earth sciences and journalism I work for the Utrecht University since 2016 at the crossroads of climate research, science communication and public outreach.

Until end of 2024 I worked as communications officer for the climate research programme NESSC at the Faculty of Geosciences. Also I coordinated the educational outreach programme Tipping Point Ahead, which develops educational materials about climate change and climate science for secondary education

Since 2025, Tipping Point Ahead has become part of the climate change research programme EMBRACER. The coming years I work at the Freudenthal Institute to further professionalise Tipping Point Ahead as educational programme.
