My main research area is in the general field of Hydrogeology.

In addition, I have an interest in numerous related fields including Sedimentary Basin Analysis, Geomorphology, Structural Geology, Geophysics, Remote Sensing, and GIS. My research view is to integrate different fields of Geology together to analyze and solve the various water problems (facing Egypt in particular) with advanced yet relatively low-cost methods in order to help develop this sector and minimize the rising risks.
