Profile

I am a postdoctoral researcher at Utrecht University, with a background in Artificial Intelligence and Educational Sciences. My research focuses on collaborative learning, teaching, and technology in education (for example learning analytics and blended learning). I am also involved in innovative projects concerning the use of web lectures and flipping the classroom in higher education. 

Starting October 2016, I will carry out my Rubicon project at Ruhr-Universität Bochum. The project focuses on learning analytics dashboards to support teachers, and investigates which specific design and function dashboards should have to facilitate adaptive teacher support for students.
