Anna Vera van Beusekom completed her LL.M. in Dutch law cum laude at Utrecht University in 2017, and completed her LL.M. in German law magna cum laude in Cologne at the Universität zu Köln in 2019. She was awarded an honourable mention for her Dutch master thesis (Molengraaff Master Thesis Prize). During her studies Anna Vera was student assistant for Utrecht University, she interned at law firms, represented Utrecht University in the Willem C. Vis Moot Court and she studied in Vienna (Universität Wien).

Since spring 2019, Anna Vera has been a PhD Candidate and Lecturer at the Molengraaff Instituut voor Privaatrecht. For her article 'De privaatrechtelijke rechtsverhoudingen bij crowdlending' she received an honourable mention for the Utrecht University School of Law Wiarda Prize 2021.
