Roos Mulder

PhD Candidate
Organisation Science

The focus of Roos' PhD project revolves around the question: to what extent, how and why does people management have an optimal effect on employee well-being and performance?

In this research, Roos examines when people management (or leadership support) by managers has a positive and negative impact on employee outcomes, such as well-being and performance. By investigating whether people management can be 'too much of a good thing,' Roos explores whether there can be an optimal level of support for employees.

The research takes place in the hospital sector and consists of 4 sub-studies. The project runs from 2023 to 2027.
