I am a postdoctoral fellow in the institute of biodynamics and biocomplexity at Utrecht University. I joined the group of Sander van den Heuvel in September 2020, where I research the genetic and epigenetic regulation of muscle development in C. elegans. More specifically, I am applying ChIC-seq and CUT&RUN to study the dynamics of transcription factor binding and chromatin modifications during cellular proliferation and differentiation within the post-embryonic M lineage. These investigations will lead to a deeper understanding of gene regulation through time and has the potential to elucidate the role of chromatin remodelers in cancer formation.
