Ada Kool studied Biology and Forest and Nature Conservation. Later, she got her first-degree teaching certificate, specialized in international and bilingual teaching. She continued her career as a PhD candidate within the Sirius project. The focus of this research project was on associations between undergraduate students' personal qualities and academic performance and effects of honours programmes.

Currently, Ada is working as an educational trainer and consultant. Most of her projects are within the field of secondary and higher education. 

- providing workshops on Content and Language Intergrated Learning (CLIL), secondary education

- researcher/consultant on data driven decision making, secondary education

- collaborating with secondary education teachers on conducting applied research (AOS)

- workshops on facilitating a research mindset, secondary education 

- NRO research project on excellence/honours in higher education

- various projects within higher education involving admission and the alignment with programme goals

Ada's working days are currently Monday-Thursday.
