I am interested in how long-term and large-scale tectonic processes are linked to earthquake dynamics and seismic hazard. To study this, I develop and apply seismo-thermo-mechanical numerical models that are able to simulate both geodanymic processes and fully resolve earthquakes at millisecond time-scales.
