As a full-time Ph.D. researcher, Arvie will conduct his doctoral research in HRM topic supervised by Professor Dr Paul Boselie, Professor dr. Mirko Noordegraaf, and Dr. Stephan Grimmelikhuijsen. His research is fully funded by Indonesia Endowment Fund for Education/LPDP scholarships. Arvie has graduated from the Faculty of Politics and Social Sciences at Gadjah Mada University in Indonesia for his Bachelor Degree (Cum Laude). In 2012 he received his Master's degree in Business Administration in Human Resources Management from the University of James Cook in Australia under the scheme of Australian Development Scholarships. His specialty is HR audit and strategic HR in courts.

His research focuses on human resource outsourcing and contracting practices in courts. The research aims at providing the underlying human resources outsourcing and contracting in courts and at identifying the actual and perceived outcomes of human resource outsourcing and contracting according to the stakeholders involved.
