Anne finished the Bachelor Earth Sciences at Utrecht University, including a 6 month exchange with Macquarie University in Sydney, Australia. She continued with a Master Geophysics at the UU, after which she started her PhD research with the Mantle Dynamics and Theoretical Geophysics group in 2012. This research entails 4D numerical modelling of subduction with the open source code ASPECT.
