Archer BUISSINK is a PhD candidate at Utrecht University researching the regulation of platform work and how it challenges relations between market, state and technology in the Netherlands, France, and Germany. His previous studies were in sociology at Victoria University of Wellington and the University of Waikato, and in French and German at the University of Auckland. Alongside the impact of technology and algorithms on work, employment, and governance in the European context, Buissink is interested in the sociology of work, and the history of social theory.
