Information for international students
Student at School (SOS) is a non-profit initiative connecting enthusiastic higher education students with secondary schools in the Utrecht region. This side job allows you to take on minor tasks, lightening the workload for teachers and giving you valuable experience in the Dutch educational field.
Important Note for Non-Dutch Speakers
SOS primarily operates in the Dutch language, as the vast majority of secondary schools require Dutch-speaking students to communicate effectively with pupils and staff.
- You are absolutely welcome to apply! We highly value your motivation and diverse background.
- However, we must be transparent: we cannot guarantee that we will quickly find a placement for non-Dutch speaking students due to the strong language preference in schools.
