Public Lecture by Sir Roger Penrose: Worlds Before the Big Bang: Colliding Black Holes and the Creation of Dark Matter

What happened before the big bang? Most cosmologists would answer that question by saying that the question makes no sense, since time didn’t exist before the big bang. Roger Penrose has a different story to tell. As a part of the 19th UK and European Meeting on the Foundations of Physics, Sir Roger will give a public lecture on conformal cyclic cosmology (CCC) on the evening of Wednesday, July 11. Attendence of the lecture is free and all are welcome!
